Food Fest

Gwyl Fwyd Llanidloes Food Festival was first held in 2018 and is becoming an annual fixture. It is a celebration of plant based food beginning on the Saturday before National Vegetarian Week. There are stalls, talks, demos, entertainment for kids and adults plus obviously lots of food. Food and drink producers, local and from further afield, assault your senses with some superb dishes and delicious produce. Followed by events through the week, the finale is the picnic at Cae Felin on the following Sunday.

Bigger, better, festier and vegier than ever, Gwyl Flwd Llanidloes Food Festival will again be at the community centre on May 9th. This is followed by a week of food related talks and demos, finally culminating with the Farm Big Picnic on Sunday 17th to wrap things up (part of National Vegetarian Week).

We have secured Niki Webster of Rebel Recipes as our celebrity guest. Her approach to plant based food will really rock your boat (see her web site for more). She will perform a cooking demonstration followed by a book signing, so you could get a chance to speak to her in person.

Watch out for the various Llanidloes restaurants and pubs doing special menus and events throughout the week.
